Self Care For Mom

Mom, I get it, you’re tired. Try as you might, we all know you can’t pour properly from an empty cup. Sometimes, I’ve noticed, just 10 minutes of quick self care and I feel better. We all know alone time is hard to get, and we can get really overstimulated. I am attaching a few of my favorite items to help me get a quick self care boost. Click on the picture to the right to shop some of my favorites.

So often I think we view self care as a selfish act, but really it’s a necessity. Even though I’m sure you’re super mom you are also just a HUMAN. Self care can feel like a little hug you are giving yourself. Everyday doesn’t always seem like an attainable goal at first, because depending on what stage or motherhood you’re in you may not even feel like you can work in a shower most days. I challenge you to get 10 minutes of self care twice a week.

Self care, however it looks to you, stretching, reading, a mask, comfy pajamas and quiet time, a craft, literally whatever makes you happy just make sure you do it.
